7TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL SURFING DAY KICKS OFF SUMMER

San Clemente, CA (June 20, 2011) – Today, surfers worldwide kicked off summer by paddling out and giving back to our oceans, waves and beaches in celebration of the 7th Annual International Surfing Day, sponsored by Barefoot Wine.
“International Surfing Day is a great way to kick off summer,” said Travis Ferré, SURFING Magazine’s editor-in-chief. “We had great waves, amazing weather and we enjoyed our first three-day weekend thanks to it falling on a Monday this year.”

Alki David Stars In "Guido "

Alki David stars as Guido, a former Iraqi soldier gone hit man in the US. In a deal gone bad he is forced to take a body in the trunk of his limo across the country to Los Angeles. Gary Busey makes an appearance as the owner of the limo company Guido works for. While on his way to LA Guido finds himself driving a dying woman, played by Lupe Ontiveros, who’s last wish is to go to her hometown in Mexico. An unlikely friendship between this hitman and this woman begins while transporting bodies. Billy Zane plays a flamboyant bad guy who delivers plenty of laughs. The movie overall was entertaining and had the audience laughing.

Kobe Bryant Launches non-profit foundation to help help end youth homelessness

Los Angeles CA (June 27, 2011) Kobe and Vanessa Bryant announced the official formation of the Kobe and Vaness Bryant Foundation (KVFBF), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families in need. Focusing on youth homelessness in Los Angeles as it's first intiative, funds raised by the foundation will support organizations and programs that transform the lives of homeless youth and families by helping to create permanent housing and providing resources for education and career development.

"On my way to games, I noticed children and families living on the street blocks away from where I play and it didn't sit well with me," said Kobe Bryant. "I wanted to help make a difference in homelessness and what better place to start than in my own back yard," he added.

 Comedian  Tony Roberts Giving You The Raw Truth

It is every comic’s dream to have an extraordinary breakout year and 2010 is proving to be comedian Tony Roberts time. With the success of his recent Showtime stand-up comedy special, Tony Roberts: Wired (the CD drops May 4); he’s also the new host of VH1’s Dance Cam Slam; appeared in a new Simmons-Lathan produced comedy show for Comedy Central and plans to release his first comedy album this fall. The comedian, actor and writer is hard at work ready to show the world what he can do. Jimmy Jean Louis "Interview"

When thinking of heroes, we often think of Superman or a Greek hero such as Hercules. In this day in age, there are still heroes. Heroes that are changing the world one life at a time. It happens to be we spoke to one modern day hero who happens to be a gifted Hollywood actor on one of the most successful running shows on NBC, called “Heroes.”

We spoke with the graceful Jimmy-Jean Louise via the phone in Phoenix, where he was promoting his documentary, “The Haiti Earthquake: Through the Eyes of Jimmy-Jean Louise” at the Phoenix Film Festival. Fans recognize him from his role as “The Haitian,” however, that has changed since the recent mega 7.0 earthquake devastated the intriguing island of Hiati. Jimmy has been on the island since then and gives us the latest on what is happening. Jimmy has been dedicated to his people and country since coming to Hollywood. His vigor and passion have transcended into his organization, which he founded called, Hollywood Unites For Haiti.
